Peoples Community Bank will never contact you by text message! If you receive a text (or email) such as this: "As part of our security measures the bank decided to flag your debit card. Please call 1-727-916-7981 to un-flag" - it is a scam and fraud attempt to gain your personal account information. Do not respond to any such text message!

Jack Henry & Associates, our website & on-line banking services provider has released the following fraud alert regarding phishing emails that may have been sent to our banking customers. Please follow the instructions below if you receive an email from email@example.com. Peoples Community Bank will never contact you via email, phone, or other means to request your personal information. Contact any of our branch locations with questions or for more information.
We are receiving reports of phishing emails being sent from what appears to be a NetTeller email address firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line of NetTeller Watch Notice. These are bogus emails trying to get customers to click on the embedded NetTeller access link. These emails are not coming from NetTeller. Please advise your customers, should they receive an email, NOT to click on the link. It is recommended to permanently delete the email.
